Event Details

The word melody, coming from a Greek word meaning “sung poetry,” is perhaps the first word that comes to our minds when we think of what makes Italian music unique.  It is the sheer melodicism of the Italian song repertory from the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s has inspired so many artists to perform it.  Old-fashioned melodies, rich with poetic language, classical in how they feature the human voice, accompanied by harmonies at once simple and complex, define a particular style that is entirely Italian in its aesthetic.

Francesco Pellegrino, voice

Lucas Harris, guitar

Louis Simão, accordion, guitar
