The Cello Suites Of J.s. Bach

Confluence Concerts – in partnership with the Toronto Bach Festival – presents an exciting three-concert series, featuring the Six Cello Suites, BWV 1007-1012 by Johann Sebastian Bach. The first of these concerts features two performers on the “modern” cello: Winona Zelenka is an accomplished member of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and has recorded the complete Bach Suites for Marquis Classics; Michelle Tang is a tremendously talented fifteen year old student of Shauna Rolston. Join us for a pre-concert chat at 7:00pm. This performance will be recorded.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES: This event will be held in strict compliance with provincial health and safety regulations. As of September 22, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities, including concerts.​ Aligned with public health measures currently in place, indoor masking policies will continue to remain in place.
