By adding memorable humour and verbal jousting to his film, Rémi Bezançon makes the Henri Pick mystery a truly successful transposition of the eponymous novel by D. Foenkinos. Perfect in this role, Fabrice Luchini brings his usual humour and talent to the film!

Synopsis:
An editor discovers a novel that she considers to be a masterpiece, in a library whose particularity is to collect the manuscripts refused by the publishers. The text is signed Henri Pick, a Breton pizza maker who died two years earlier.

Pourquoi avons-nous choisi ce film ?
En parsemant son film d’un humour et de joutes verbales mémorables Rémi Bezançon fait du mystère Henri Pick est une véritable transposition réussie du roman éponyme de D. Foenkinos. Parfait dans ce rôle, Fabrice Luchini rajoute son humour et son talent habituel !

Synopsis :
Dans une étrange bibliothèque au cœur de la Bretagne, une jeune éditrice découvre un manuscrit extraordinaire qu’elle décide aussitôt de publier. Le roman devient un best-seller. Mais son auteur, Henri Pick, un pizzaïolo breton décédé deux ans plus tôt, n’aurait selon sa veuve jamais écrit autre chose que ses listes de courses. Persuadé qu’il s’agit d’une imposture, un célèbre critique littéraire décide de mener l’enquête, avec l’aide inattendue de la fille de l’énigmatique Henri Pick.
