Pourquoi avons nous choisi ce film ?

Le deuxième film de Nicolas Pariser plonge profondément dans le monde de la politique, où parfois théorie politique et fonctionnement du gouvernement ne vont pas de pair. Ce regard émouvant parmi les couloirs du pouvoir a été projeté dans la section Quinzaine des réalisateurs du Festival de Cannes 2019 où il a remporté le prix du label Europa Cinemas du meilleur film européen.

Synopsis: 

Lorsque le maire de Lyon trouve sa carrière stagnante, il accueille une brillante jeune philosophe dans son entourage.

Why did we chose this film? 

Nicolas Pariser's second film dives deep into the world of politics, where at times political theory and the workings of the government don't go hand in hand. This touching look into the corridors of power was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Europa Cinemas Label Award for Best European Film.

Synopsis: 

When the mayor of Lyon finds his career stagnanting, he welcomes a brilliant young philosopher into his inner circle.
