SYMPHRONICA is the brilliant electric / acoustic - jazz / world / pop quartet of leader/composer Ron Davis plus a high-flying string quartet, unique in its ability both to play "straight" and improvise. Symphronica brings fresh accessible music experiences in new music. New music that's open to the popular ear. Original music that reaches all music lovers. Symphronica is where music worlds collide. Japanese drumming, funk grooves, jazz improv and pop moves. It is the ultimate, one-of-a-kind music mashup.
Symphronica’s home since 2013 has been Toronto’s fabled Lula Lounge, home of some of the finest music anywhere. It has been playing to ecstatic audiences, with music from Lady Gaga to Glenn Gould. The Symphronica seasons have been a brilliant light in Toronto’s shining music scene.

It was a highlight of last year's concert season. The power of the Nagata Shachu Japanese drum ensemble combined with the electric/acoustic jazz/pop/classical vibe of Symphronica brought the house down. The two groups re-unite for what promises to be an even more moving, earth-shaking evening of music, the likes of which you have never heard before.
