WHEN THE OCTOBER REVOLUTION WENT INTO SPACE

On the occasion of the centennial of the October Revolution, the lecture will present some of the lesser known utopian dreams that were part of Russian revolutionary culture: a Marxist future for planet Earth and the universe.

By Thomas Lahusen, professor at the Department of History and Centre of Comparative Literature at the University of Toronto. The lecture will be followed by a screening of Aelita, a silent film directed by Yakov Protazanov. Partner: Mission du Centenaire 14-18
